The human-centered view of AI recognizes its pros and cons or its advantages and limitations<\/strong>. Among the latter, we account for the high levels of energy consumption, the cloud occupations limits, the computer heating problem and the risk of fully substituting human intervention which is carrying hazardous open-ended outcomes and solutions.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For the reason above, it becomes important to explore the contours of the management of AI and its pervasive impact at economic, business, ecosystems and societal levels. As such, the key objectives of the center are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To promote and coordinate a portfolio of premier research activities in the areas of study concerning the relationship of AI with economy, territorial communities, institutions, private and public companies and non-profit organizations;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To promote and support the production of a stream of high-quality research at the international level by means of establishing a relevant set of collaborative relationships and projects activated with a range of other leading universities and research centers headquartered in Italy and abroad. This objective will be actively pursued by stipulating formal agreements and accords and launching research projects;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To promote the preparation and dissemination of a portfolio of high-quality research products (i.e., articles, books, book chapters, excerpts, interviews and videos). Interactions with other national and international research centers and scientific societies and academies will complement the activation of a\u00a0<strong>(1<sup>st<\/sup>) first fruitful virtuous circle of collaborations between scholars and students;<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To involve in the center activities portfolio a range of expert practitioners, such as consultants, managers, financing individuals, startuppers, regulators, lawyers and entrepreneurs. This condition turns pretty instrumental to bring together, in a fruitful manner, academic thinking and contributions with practitioners\u2019 elaboration, praxis and action in such a way that allows us to start activating a<strong>\u00a0(2<sup>nd<\/sup>) second significant virtuous circle of development in the interaction between AI practice and knowledge.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>To develop a&nbsp;critical view of AI and AI management, otherwise termed&nbsp;\u201ca human-centered view of AI\u201d.
